« on: January 25, 2015, 02:48:34 PM »
I've been wanting to get insurance on my dog. I've come to realize that i care for him to much and know if something bad happens I'm going to be paying whatever it takes within reason. What type of insurance do you guys have on your dogs, Had to make a claim and how was dealing with them. Looking for some companies that are good to work with thanks.

PetPlan USA - $200 deductible per occurrence. We've had it since we got our pup 5+ years ago...been paid out more than $4k

I use VPI pet insurance has been awesome would never be without it while having a hunting dog for sure.  There are different levels and on the plans, the one we have is $350 per year and $200 deductible per year...all depends on dog and age also though.  Have never had any issues getting reimbursed and is accepted at most all vets...

Me too. Went with the highest level of coverage for my ES. At about $500 a year and it's paid for itself.
