Were gonna make a bunch of home made sweet tater chips. Not sure what else. Ony stuff that is easy to eat amd easy to prepare beforehand... mostly junk food.  :chuckle:

Blaster....can I get a recipe for those? I seem to have no luck making sweet potatoe fries or chips. Don't know what I'm doing wrong but they just never get crispy.

All about the double fry....

Gotta slice thin, put in 375 oil and cook for like 30-50 seconds, remove and let rest for 5 minutes or so then fry again and you'll have crisp chips everytime.  (same with fries as you'll get soft centers and good crunch outside).

I'll be having ham and swiss cheese sammich on sourdough bread when I get back.

we dont fry ours. Just bake them. My fiance got a tater slicer that slices super thin amd then we season em up and spray with olive oil and bake. Still pretty new at it but theyre getting there. Im not even sure what temp...  :chuckle: just bake a while and then broil.

 I have been going round and round with this one ..maybe BQ Pork sandwiches with Cole slaw on top  :dunno: or home made Grinders with Pepperoni - Ham - Salami and Medium Hot sausage topped with Provolone cheese and vinaigrette dressing ... :dunno:  may change my mind by tomorrow  :chuckle:
