I would call them Roosevelts and my taxidermist calls them Roosevelts. Pure strain.....probably not. Some Rockys were transplanted in the area in the 1930's. So there has been some intermingling of the gene pool.

Some good memories there Bro'!!!!!
On 3 of those hunts I also tagged an elk, on those 3 times it was less than 15 minutes later that I filled my tag!!!!
We've had some crazy elk hunts together!!!

Yep, and alot more to come. I belive this coming season we will be hunting elk together in a couple states (hopefully). Those hunts together are some of the most memorable hunts to me.
