pig hunting alabama....
« on: February 19, 2015, 01:19:11 PM »
Headed to alabama in July, lookin at pig hunts. Looks like there are a few different options, including night hunting. 20-30 pigs a day/night. Sounds like fun. Anybody been? Any outfitter recommendations?

I'm going to South Carolina on 19 March for a 3 day hunt.  2 pigs a day and I also get to hunt at night.  Can't wait!!

I am going to be in North Alabama in late June.  Pig hunt sounds cool.  Tagging this thread to see what you find out.

Sounds like a ton of fun.   If you don't mind me asking.....what do pig hunts cost in this region?  Just the hunt / license, not travel.

Thanks

Never did get around to hunting them at Rucker, but they're thick in areas. Get big too.

I hunted next door in Mississippi two summers ago, killed a nice boar, caught 3 kinds of catfish, then went bow fishing at night for gar and arrowed 7 gar.

It was all awesome, you will have a great time.

My cousins in Shelby County Alabama hunt hogs and deer with spears!  Give that a try!
