Arrow drop calculator

Anybody know of a calculator for arrow drop at certain distinces using speed and weight?  I am thinking about changing my current set up from a multi pin sight to a single pin and want to know how flat the first 30 yards might be.  If I have to dial the sight in at 10, 20, and 30, then I might stay with multi pin.

I think it honestly depends on your setup and arrow you are shooting.   I shoot traditional, so calculate this in my head so to speak.  It will vary depending what arrow and head you are using

Here's one. Interesting to play around with. It would be more usefull though if you could change the zero distance. You would be suprised how little difference everything makes, especially under 40yds. These online calculators are close but never 100% accurate.

My single pin is about the same within 30 yards.  make thirty your first mark then 40-50-60-70-80 ect.

That's what i was hoping for.  I shoot a Bowtech Tomkat and it's set at 55# right now and just above min arrow weight with a 100 grain broadhead and 400 spine arrows @ 8.3 gr/inch.  I want to use it for elk next year, and am thinking the poundage will have to be cranked up so new arrows will have to be ordered.  So with new arrows and new poundage, I hope to be flat 0-30.

No such thing as flat 0-30.  Even if you shot a true 350fps there would still be over 10" of drop between 10 and 30.  That being said you can easily shoot 20 yards using your 30 yard pin and still stay in the kill zone.  Might need to aim 3-5" low to shoot the head off a grouse, but on elk or deer just center heart and shoot!

Single pins scare me...same way with hidden turrets on a rifle..eventually youl forget where your sights are...and unfortunately I know of a few booners that are still alive today as a result

About the same.  I don't hold ten inches low with the dial on 30 shooting at ten but it's a few.  Maybe six inches.  Remember I shoot the 360 lmfao.  Probably shooting a lot less but it's good humor.  Drop  shooting at 30 with it zeroed at ten yeah I could see ten inches.  But with the dial on 30 shooting at ten yards you won't get ten inches of pop out of the arrow.  Not enough distance for the arrow to gain the elevation.

I have a 20 yard mark on my wheel.  It's where my sight is locked in while hunting hiking ect.  If I need to change it animals outside of twenty might stay still or at thirty just a few inches high.

Look up parallax error for any close range shooting & as long as you can make a good shot within your effective range no need to change draw weight. So good form & practice

I used to have a bowtech tomcat and at 30 yards you will have arrow drop farely significant from 20 yards. They arent the fastest bows. From 20-30 I think I had about a 6 inch difference and I was shooting 70 lbs with that bow. With my PSE at 70 lbs I dont have any drop out to about 23 yards. Shoots all the same inside that with my 20 yard pin. With your tomcat I would recommend a 20 yard setting.
