Anyone reloading 28 GA shells?
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:49:44 AM »
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck reloading the AA HS hulls in 28 GA? I have great success using the remington premier hulls, but had problems w/ AA when they first came out and have not tried since.

I've been reloading WAAHS hulls with great success.  Which wad are you using? What weight of shot are you using? What problems are you having? What press are you using? I'm using a MEC Sizemaster and it does a great job.

I'll bet your crimps are bulging out, a common problem if the correct hull isn't used.

Let me know what's up, I'll see if I can help.

I am using a mec 9000G, loading hs hulls w/ waa28hs wads 3/4oz of #7.5. You are correct the crimp is bulging.
