This is why I keep turkeys with my chickens. Ravens, crows and magpies don't land when there is a big bad tom around.
If its a big crow I'd just shoot it.
There always seems to be a ton of roosters on Craigslist. Most feed stores have bulletin boards as well with animals on them.Just curious, how does a bird get to your eggs? One would have to go in our fenced/covered coop, then walk into the house and then fly up into the nest boxes, not something I think a wild bird would often do.

If attitude alone was the deterrent my sons little Serama would be the king of the hill. Too bad Serama's are the worlds smallest chickens. I'd check feed stores.
Pellet rifle will solve the problem, and you'll be able to sleep in if you want to.Crows avoid my yard like the plague after dropping a couple of them in front of their friends.
