Favorite Lake and RV/Campgound in Eastern WA?
« on: February 03, 2015, 12:59:40 PM »
So I've been in a discussion with a couple people and and I'm wanting your guys/gals oppion of your favorite lake in Eastern WA (that actually has trees in the area, ie... not sagebrush country).

Fishing? Camping/RV's? Cabins? etc...

thanks

Tagging along for this one.  Always looking for a good camp spot.

Steamboat state park on banks lake is pretty nice and has a few trees and great fishing.

Lake Roosevelt- Hunters campground.  Just camping and RV's.  Clean, rarely full, good boat launch and fishing. All camp spots are under big pines with several virtually on the beachfront.

We used to camp at 25 mile creek campground or up lake by boat on Lake Chelan.  We had people who fished, kids, boats, jetskiis, 10 days of friends and fun every July.

Lake Pearrygin State Park is one of my favorites.  The Wake boats do take the lake over thou.

I'm a bass guy so it's been Banks and Potholes for me and family.  State parks for camping at both.  Getting a spot is the trick
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.
