It really depends on what you are looking for.  Lemondog has the great landscape kill shot, while Alpinegus has an amazing once in a lifetime goat picture.  If I could have any of the animals pictured in the contest it would be Gus's goat for sure.  Bowsandhose has a huge elk which is many people's favorite (including my wife, she says they eat the best).  There are a few nice landscape shots in there but that isn't what huntwa is about.  The photo of the kid with the buck is hard to resist as well even though the composition always throws me off.  Slider has the great photo of a huge buck for WA, but a buck of his caliber isn't hard to find in other states.  Javman really has a photo that says "Washington" if we aren't voting for a kill photo.  When many think of WA you think of rainforest and rosey bulls.  And it is a technically great photo.  Mray's photo is nice but this isn't fishwa.  I think I'll keep my vote a secret as half the guys that are in the contest are friends...  :)

A hard choice to make, took a while and made my choice. Good luck to those who were picked.

Javman all the way, I love that velvet rack and the sort-a tunnel vision view.

MRay got my 2nd.  That pic has amazing clarity and what a fish.

I have to agree with Pope.  Javman's bull is what Washington is all about.  A wet, mossy country with a nice Rosie bull, looking back at ya through the brush.  He got my vote, even though all the photos were awesome, and would make great winners.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Just voted. A bunch of great photos, it was hard to pick. Timbers, M-rays, Popes, Bucksnorts, Bowsandhoses, all incredible photos. I kept going back to Sliders buck though........
