It really dose not matter  all you need is something that breaks up your appearance, but i  would take the pattern to the spot and see witch works best for you  :twocents:. As for buying these if you want something new i would wait until Christmas when  its on sale, if you want something used or don't mind i should say you could check eBay and craigslist.

I've always been partial to MO Shadowgrass.  But ATM makes a good point.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I'm in the final stages of design as we speak of the ultimate waterfowl marsh camo. It'll have salt grasses, cattails, numerous empty shotgun hulls of various colors, a couple energy drink cans and an abandoned gill net. With this camo on, all you'd have to do is lay on the shore and shoot a limit.
Sarcasm in case anyone was wondering.

Probably the two best camo patterns I have used are the Sitka waterfowl pattern and the natural gear.  Those seem to blend in the best for my area of concentration.
I have camo in Max-4, Max-5, marsh grass and several other patterns and Sitka and natural gear seem to do the best.  Gives you the darker earth tones.  If hunting an east side yellow hay field a lighter pattern may require less grassing.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Mixing and matching does a better job of breaking up your outline :twocents:

Flooded hay fields sounds like you need a some kind of blind for the edge of the water, I would prefer laydown with hay in brush straps wearing face mask.  Best all round camo, Carhartt brown coat with bibs if you don't wear waders. Don't see much of that because not the best for rain.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.
