I don't know of a windy pass in the paseyten.Well the Windy Pass I am thinking about is out of Harts Pass, on what is locally referred to as the West Fork Trail. You travel out through Oregon pass and Oregon basin to Windy Pass and Windy Basin You then go by Tamarack Peak and then the Devils Back Bone to Holman Peak and Holman Creek, which is kind of a junction for the West Fork and the Middle fork trails.
Here's your GPS coordinates I would hunt if I had a young group of guys to hunt with.Never been there but always have thought it would have some nice bucks, go check it out and let us all know how you do. 48.823203, -120.245500

Being there during a storm.. That's an experience. Remember that in any alpine area the weather can change at a moments notice. Some say that the Pasayten creates it's own weather. Believe it! Go prepared. -SteveI thought that pond looked familiar! September 2004
