Yes, a boat is nice, but Lake Roosevelt offers excellent bank fishing access to folks that don't have one…Like me. Last Sunday (3/1), my wife and I caught three 16" rainbows from shore. The flesh quality of these fish out of the cold, clean water is exceptional.

BTW, nice fish becker; thank you for posting.

Cold water shore fishing on Lake Roosevelt is great.  Some spots will give up some burbot too

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Lots of shore success at Spring Canyon, Fort Spokane, Hunters. Those are the locations I've fished. But tons of other locations.

A few weeks ago I watched a shore fisherman land back to back fish in 20 mins.

When I was a younger I loved shore fishing Hunters.

We use to go it with like a 18" leader with a decent sinker, worm and marshmallow.
