Now that I actually have a GPS, I gotta get myself a WA sd card.

I've dedicated my retired Samsung rugby pro phone as my GPS.  I use the ViewRanger map app.  So far it has met my expectations.   I love the fact that I have aerial imagery as my map background.  Now I'd  love to be able to load the wa hunt parcel layer on as well.  Haven't looked into it yet.  ViewRanger allows me to load GPX files.  Anyway huntingmaps can produce the WA parcel layer in a GPX format?

Yeah, I keep meaning to and never seem to think about it until I need it and can't do it at the time. I have heard that they are really helpful in working with their customers. And wasn't bashing on the product at all but more my ability to figure it out. This is what happens when you give a smart device to a dumb guy.  :chuckle:

I purchased the Montana 650t just before modern firearm deer season.  The unit is fantastic.  We used it in Eastern WA, and found areas that were marked as NO TRESPASSING, and gated, were actually public land and could be hunted.

It is a little bulky, but the hunting chips for Washington and Montana are invaluable as far as showing public land.  The Montana chip also shows Block Management details.  And the large screen makes it very easy to read.

I also use this GPS for finding my way around Seattle and the Puget Sound vicinity.

I would highly recommend the Montana series.
