Remington 788.....
« on: April 01, 2015, 07:22:33 PM »
Picked one up in 22-250 today. Seems they have a cult like following, anybody run one? They look and feel cheap, into it fairly cheap, supposed to be great shooters. Guess I'll find out

I have one in 22-250 as well. Fun little gun. Only issue is mine ejects the spent brass into the scope knob and it doesnt eject correctly. And one of ky magazines is bent.

The 788 rifles are a great gun for the cost. I have owned severalof them and sold a couple of them to friends. I still have my 243 topped with a Redfield 3X9, I've killed a ton of Whitetails in New York & Pennsylvania with it. I'll keep it until I cash in my chips.

If you want to flip it and make a few bucks I have a friend looking for that caliber in the 788.

I have a 308 and a custom 260.  Both very accurate.  I know I've showed this one before, but I love showing it off.

At the range working up loads (hence the T36!).  It loves the 139 scenar.

Thanks.  It was a gun show find, and the seller knew very little.  So, I wish I knew its story, but I don't.   :dunno:
