So what's the big deal about the green tipped that is double the price of other ammo that will do the same thing.

There really isn't that much difference in the ammo, but the feds want to ban what they feel is more destructive than just normal ammo. So you have  people paying inflated prices for ammo they believe will be banned. Which will increase the price of normal ammo because, folks will just buy anything they find.  :twocents:

ATF is talking about reclassifying it as AP and banning it. The fact that it isn't that great of ammo is irrelevant, people want it because they think it's magical if the AFT wants it banned.

Exactly! Supply and demand. I would rather have a pile of MagTech 77gr OTM.

It's pointless to say & I know most get it here.  I watched a guy get assistance to carry out six ammo cans of 855. And, that's fine. But retailers can't sell what they can't stock. It hurts the little retailers. I think it's silly. It posses me off but it's silly.  The reality is basicly all center fire rifles are capable of doing what they claim 855 does be it steel, lead, or copper. And, most have a pistol version. If this EO stans then the prez by EO can ban all bullets at his leisure.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
