3-4 year old shed still draining?
« on: February 20, 2015, 09:10:40 AM »
There was a cup or two of blood that had dripped out after finding this. Didn't know they still would drain after sitting that long. This happen to anyone else with an older shed they have found?

They are porous, likely just absorbed water and necrosis of the center. Bet that smells GOOD  :chuckle:
I have a moose paddle that stinks to high heaven

Nice one, I would drip a little bleach into the end and watch the maggots crawl out :puke: :puke:They will continue to smell untill they dry out. put them in a dry place with the base down then rotate too tips down then back to base down untill it quits draining. you can also scrub all the green off and get the color back with stain. I found one that was lying in a pond for over a year and when i picked it up it drained a couple quarts of goo. it smelled like my boys dirty socks :chuckle:

Wonder if that dude did the scraping on that tree? That west side shed hunting has to be tough. Those things blend in when they get bit of age on them

My daughter found one a few years back behind my property in the swamplands.  It smelled like hell, I put it out in the garage for a few months, and the smell went away it was a large 6 as well.

Thank you MtnMuley! And I don't think that's from him quadrafire,  looks to me there's a couple other Bulls hanging in there. I'm not sure if this bull is still around, but ya never know! And semperfidelis97 that's cool, I did the same. Mine is sitting upright in the well house right now haha

Great find!  Disgusting discussion.

Awesome shed! I have some that drained just like that. A LOT, like cups of it. They stay out in the flower beds.
