I'm not going to say much becauase they are already hard enough to find, believe It or not I found 8lb's h1000 and 210 accubond's in  the same day. might as well be searching for unicorn's

Have you shot anything with them? How did they perform?

Bearpaw, have heard many results from customers. Most are going back to standard AB's or Barnes. Too frangible at magnum velocities under 400-500 yards.

I bought the factory loaded 150lr for my 270wsm didn't shoot well from my gun I have one new box I would trade for a box of the standard accubond if someone wants to try them

bearpaw I shot my deer last year at 355yds it virtually performed exactly like a there regular accubond. knocked the deer off his feet with a lung shot and never got back up. the only thing I've shot at any distance is a coyote, to be fare any 200 grain bullet would do it's job on them. I think maybe people aren't loading them fast enough to get there full potential. and they are crazy accurate

The were very accurate in my 7STW.  I went back to partitions as I have a much higher chance of a 25-300 yards shot.

Loaded in .270 winny with same powder charge and bto as our berger load, shot just as accurate but the LRs dropped three more inches at 300 and berger kept pulling away at 400, 500, 600, and 700 yards when tested in 150 grain bullet, might just be our load and rifle but I liked the flatter trajectory just my two cents!

You and I have both have put many animals of all sizes in the dirt over the years. Stick with what works and has been proven usually works best. Fun to experiment with different bullets, but in this case, there are better, proven, choices in my opinion..

Litz tested the 150, and well, it's marginaly stable in a 10 twist tube. Really needs a 9.

I have had "OK" luck getting them to shoot, but something is amiss with them. as I approached 3000 FPS,  I was starting to get some fliers.

I have had great results with Nosler Accubonds.  I have shot 180 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips out of my 300 Win Mag. for years with great accuracy, but they're not really a great hunting bullet.  When Nosler came out with Accubonds, I loaded some up and was pleased to find that they shoot the same as the Basllistic Tips.  No problem shooting 1000+ with either and the Accubonds are easier on live venison.

Yes, different then the standard accubond, which is a great big game bullet

I loaded some 190's up last year for my 300 weatherby and took one bear right at 300 yards with it. Dropped the bear in its tracks. I wasn't overly impressed to find the bear (this was quite a feat, as there was no blood trail and he tumbled a good distance down the mountain) and see the bullet hadn't exited, as well as left fragments everywhere with the rest of the bullet, which was lodged into the hide on the opposite shoulder (not such a bad thing) but weighed about 150 grains less.

I'm used to accubonds holding together, but I realize this bullet is designed to expand at lower velocities (longrange). A 300 yard shot isn't really a good test for a long range bullet, but its a good average or beyond average shot distance, and it absolutely pummeled this bear. The thing I did like is it left enough of the base/jacket of the bullet to continue on through the bear, which has not been the case for me on bergers.

I would still continue trying this bullet out but I just couldn't get it to shoot the way I wanted it to so I'm back to 180's trying to tighten things up a bit. I have some 129's for my 6.5x284 I'm currently using, but am probably making the switch to 140 standard AB's as the 129 LR's have become too hard to find.

Here's a pic of the recovered bullet

A couple more critters that fell victim to the 190 LR AB last year, but both hardly worth mentioning for bullet performance.

The antelope was 410 yards quartering to in some howling wind. I'll tell you what, doping wind with howling gusts in the wide open wyoming prairie is not easy, and to be honest not a shot I should have taken... I waited for a calm in the wind and took the shot but it managed to ear hole him.  :bash:  He of course was DRT

The blacktail was about 100 yards, just before dark and rushed opportunity, decent framed large bodied deer... turned out to be a two point. Hit him high in the shoulder, DRT but at that distance there was significant shrapnel all over the place and a complete pass through.
