my hunting buddy was getting very good results with them out of his 7 short mag..he only shot one whitetail this year so idk how they are at killing but accuracy was pretty dang good

I wanted to try them last year but they weren't available, so I ended up buying some Bergers and they shot really well, so I went ahead and hunted with the Bergers. Killed mule deer in Wyoming, and my bighorn sheep here in Washington. I think I'll just stick with the Bergers, especially since I see the Long Range Accubonds still aren't available, and the Bergers are, at least 270 and 30 caliber at Midway.

have not tried yet.Question other than the color of the tip what makes these any diff. than any other boat tail?Is the nose actually shallower on this bullet then non long range advertised bullets?  Thanks for any help on this.

The white poly tip has less drag over say green or blue

I have the 7mm,270 and 30 cal sitting here. I hope to get some loaded up and running here in the next month. I will post up some result when I get some.

No first hand knowledge, but I have a friend in Oregon who took an Oregon bull and a Wyoming bull with the 168grain 7mm last year (7RemMag).  Both animals were right around 500 yards when he shot.  While he killed both with one shot each he has not stopped complaining about the performance.  Guess he lost jackets both times before getting into the chest cavity leaving some tough trailing after the shots.  He's been a Berger guy for some time and looks like he is going back to them.

I just wish they were making one in a .257 110-115gr for my Weatherby. Bergers have shot well though.

stevemiller - these have the longer boattail and ogive making for a more streamlined shape to perform better at extreme ranges than the typically shorter and squatter bullets. No real meaningful ballistic difference until you get beyond 400yds imo.

Holes kill stuff period, sure I prefer some bullets over others but a FMJ through the shoulders of anything is dead.

I'm not going to say much becauase they are already hard enough to find, believe It or not I found 8lb's h1000 and 210 accubond's in  the same day. might as well be searching for unicorn's
