Got a survey to fill out from WDFW for the 14-15 small game season but I can't even remember what I did yesterday so how do you guys fill these things out?

Look back in your diary or logbook to see what was happening throughout the season.

So they can complain about the results later.  Kind of like not voting.

If I turned mine in they would shorten your season.

I'm the counter weight in that logic,  with the duck season I had, it should stay the same.  :chuckle:
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

We had a discussion about WDFW surveys at the Archery club some time back. Most people underestimate time in the feild and  overestimate sucess. That equils bad stuff for season setting.

If your drivign throught the woods, or picking mushrooms  w/ a gun would you have shot a coyote or a grouse? If the answer is Yes that that day also counts as hunting.... If im taking a drive to a parent or friends house have my bow or rifle in the rig and pass thorough huntable property to get there are you hunting? If you live on huntable property and you look out the window while drinking your morning cup of Joe and whould shoot a coyote/deer/elk/bear/grouse/pheasant/ rabbit, are you hunting?

Most people dont respond yes even tho they HAVE taken a poke at a critter in those terms. the WDFW compares havest numbers to days in the feild. So if you want to ensure your seasons write down ALL the days you hunted. especially the ones where you just took the gun for a walk in the woods. :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
