These last years sheds? These aren't fresh brown from this year yet are they? At least not from the eastside...or are they early this year?

Curious, are you getting ready to mount them on a form? Zooming in on the long eyeguard one's pedicle, it appears to be cut off/puttyed/sanded/???  :dunno: maybe it just looks funny when its zoomed in on.

:yike: that's a sweet find! Stud bull. Have you had eyes on this bull? It seems early still for fresh drops off bulls in any number, especially off Westside bulls,  but I know every locale can vary quite a bit. Congrats again.

Looks like it just has a goofy pedicle to me. Could be part of the reason that eyeguard grew so long. Any little deficiency can cause drastic damage or unique growth. Cool finds, but I am dying to know if they're fresh from this year…?

Nice finds...they look like this years to me.  Could be wrong. They are super clean, no sun bleaching, no chew marks...etc.

Hey bendotti, I was looking through some old threads (2011) and saw these photos that hunterofelk posted. I don't know if two horns were found in the same area and it's been a long time in between them, but you would think it has be the same genetics. I thought it was interesting… Check it out..

It does look like the one I found.  Be cool if it was from same bull.  We'll probably never know.

I figured you guys could share information via personal messaging about the location. That's just such a unique browtine. There can't be too many bulls sporting one like that. Let me know if anything comes of it, I would be very interested in knowing. How long is the browtine on yours?

It is about 30 inches.  My favorite antler in the pile.  I was so tempted to ask if anyone has seen or killed a bull with such a long brow tine, but knew it would give away the location where I like to shed hunt.
