Man, this guy is pretty screwed.

I'd find someone with a 4x4 with a winch to get it out of there and park it blocking a driveway to like a mall or something. Then a tow truck will take it and impound it and call the owner. Then you pay your $500 or whatever and you're on your way.

Foolproof plan!

Maybe he can drive it out in July when it dries out?

Did you miss this?

I'm told that the Jeep is still  there because he's been told the only way the Jeep is coming off of that hill is via air carrier. Rumor from a relatively solid source. He's not allowed to try and drive it out.

Yeah, but not being allowed to and doing it is another issue.  He wasn't allowed to be where he ended up but was anyway.  Although I do understand he is under a microscope now, but seems like he might try to sneak in and get it even if it means more fines............... :dunno:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

You'd have to find someone willing to break the law again by driving there in the 1st place. The Jeep currently resides in a no motorized area.
I guess you could also look for a guy with about 2.5 miles of winch cable.
That might work.

The fee to carrier it out of there is probably 100 times more expensive then the ticket he might get for trying to drive it out of there... I've got my money on him trying to sneak it out.

Could go find a bunch of day laborers and they could carry/drag/push it out.

hard to tell, but is it too steep to turn and head down hill if the right line is chosen?  :dunno: The damage appears to be done, not sure I would make the guy helo it out....

I knew some people, albeit very stupid people, who found a great place to 4-wheel down at the OR coast. Not another vehicle to be found anywhere. They had a great time getting all muddy and spraying the mud everywhere and making big holes. That was, until they were informed by the the OSP that they had ruined some protected clamming beds. They should've lost their truck but they didn't. I think the fines were nominal, at best. I'm sure they thought it was a lot.

People this stupid do exist and many have 4WD vehicles.  :bash:

You know at least the guy left his full name and number.  Ill give him credit for that.

Note should have read, "Gone to get more beer"
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Should've just thrown some Nitto Mud Grappler's on there, this would have been a thread about a mysterious vehicle that tore up some ground.

You know at least the guy left his full name and number.  Ill give him credit for that.

:yeah:  "Gone to get more Natural Ice..."
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
