I just bought the Savora TripleSecs and will try them this year as it'll be my first year of hunting with a bow and I'm really looking forward to it. Speaking of energy, I was practicing the other day and I've got paper plates on bales of straw and a single steel fence post off to one corner of the bales to keep them upright. On the 40yd bale one of my arrows was off a bit and hit the post. When I went to pull it out, no nock and after I pulled it out the tip was flattened about and 1/8th of an inch or more and the insert bounced out about 5/8th's of an in or more! :yike: Looked around for the nock and found it about 10-12 in front of the bale! :yike: So both ends tried to leave the shaft on impact!! Put the tip on the grinder and re-glued the insert and went back to shooting. Crazy energy.

It's been a learning process trying to get everything in tune shooting a 340 spine after the new broadheads I'll be around 11% foc not sure about my true bow speed but it's advertised 320+ dw 67lbs dl 29"in. Playing with the numbers I should be high 90's low100's on my ke a little more fine tuning should be in that sweet spot

Those Easton Gamegetters are an aluminum arrow, and the 500 usually depicts stiff the shaft is. If it's not a traditional/recurve, or  your not pulling #40-50 of draw weight, your arrows are most likely way too soft for your setup.

It would help if you can let us know your bow, year, draw length, draw weight, and arrow length. We can recommend off that.

If it turns out you do need new arrows, I'd recommend something made of carbon fiber, unless you're set on using aluminum. Carbon is a lot more forgiving than aluminum, in my opinion.

Here is the calculator for FOC http://www.goldtip.com/calculators.aspx

I have had no issues with shuttle t blood trails .  I like both slick tricks and shuttle ts. I have seen slick trick loose blades. Slick tricks tune easy  just set them with the string .

Carpsniper has some and is expected a new batch of stock this coming week.  http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,169423.0.html

Also, a package is on it's way to most of the local shops that also carry RAD peep sights.  There was a delay in getting them out to the local guys because we had more orders to fill from the shows than I expected.  This next week they should be in the majority of WA stores.  Sportsman's Warehouse will be stocking a few this year as well, but I do not yet know when those will ship.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I believe all Sportsman's Warehouse stores will be receiving some.  What models and how much I do not know yet.

Your money is much better spent at a local guy versus a national store.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
