AR Magazines
« on: March 10, 2015, 04:57:19 PM »
I know nothing about firearms. Don't have any.

What I do have is an offer on the table to trade for 12 AR magazines. From what I have discerned on the web these retail for about $20 each making the trade worth $240. This raises some huge red flags because the value is way out of proportion to the trade value.

Is there any demand for used AR magazines? Looking at a few websites, they are sold out for new.

On a side note, if someone is interested I would be willing to sell them for $10/each or trade

How many round magazines are they ? That might determine the value of each one maybe. What color is the gizmo you stack the bullets on, black or green ?

Color: Green
Material: Metal

PnwRider: I know far more about the carb on my bike than I do about firearms.

Those prices put the total trade value closer.

Does anyone want these? ($$ or trade)

Thanks Boats(?).

Okay that puts us close enough to an even trade. Doesn't sound like I can move those and I can't keep them either.

I purchased new metal ones with green followers for $10 each.  The market seems to be flooded with mags currently.

I'd be interested in a couple for the right price, if they are 30rnd.

Cavet: The trade hasn't gone through yet.
I'd rather move them as a lot if possible. Cash or trade.

The problem with used Alum ones is the lips crack and then they dont feed well. I wouldnt put much value on used Alum AR mags... MAYBE $5 ea... especially since you can pick them up new for so cheep right now, and Pmags are much better anyway.  :twocents:
