There's apparently a big blond sow with a bigger blond boar in the trees.

Just got a text from Travis...they're on a bear, waiting for him to show himself. Sounds like a nice one.

No shots fired......no BBD....they  lost track of the bear in the timber.

I can't post picture yet, not good enough service. We spotted a boar and sow, both blonde 3/4 mile across the canyon.

We dropped 1500 ft, and went up around 700 in 40 min flat. When ran a finger ridge up to get into position. The Sow was still out feeding and I had her pegged at 425 yards for 15 minutes. But after seeing that boar...he was a pig.

She eventually went into the slide alder and bedded down.

We then sat on that alder patch for twelve hours waiting for them to show themselves, to no avail.

Today's a new day!
