have another question what is terrain like open meadow , timber?

Steep and timber. The place I'm thinking about for you would be perfect for your gator.

Shot distance could be from very close to hundreds of yards from the logging roads.

Well you guys got it done for deer no problem.  I wish you the best of luck and hope to see success photos.  You seem to have a good attitude about your hunts in your posts so I am sure you will enjoy the hunt whether you bag and tag one or not.  good luck.

Solid move Campmeat, I hope you can help him out.

Thanks Ranier10. I've hunted with several members on here and we've always been friends afterwards and had a blast. They even liked me.......imagine that..

Even after seeing you with your fanny pack? Impressive. :chuckle: :sry:

You're just jealous, because I don't look like an old hippie wearing one. I'm really manlier than most.

There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.

Get up high as you can go, glass slow in clear cuts, and be patient. Where you find the lush green grasses is where the bears will be! Grasses and stumps, bring a predator call, and you will be in the action. Hope the best for ya!
