Its off of 264th on a buddys property.  I haven't put any cams on my place which is walking distance to the farm, though some of the neighbors have told me that they have seen them cross the road into my property.

No bears yet. Just deer and elk this morning. Did find some very fresh bear sign tho.

Was in there this afternoon.  I did not see much of anything.  Was in some very beary area too.  If they were awake they would have been where I was.  Saw a bunch of sign from last year.  Even found what looked to be an old rudimentary bait site.  Syrup bottle with all kinds of teeth marks in it.  Saw a handful to deer and tons of elk sign.  I am not saying they are not awake.  Just not awake in the area I was hunting.  I might have been too high for this part of the season.

They've been up for a long time now, that's not really a facto by May . What is a factor in there is location. The highest activity is on the other side of the river out of the hunt area. Come end of May/June it starts to balance out

One came out of there today, saw him at the gate. Not sure if he's a member or not. First one I've heard of this year

What kind of truck was he driving?   Had a rig drive in on me when I was glassing, they were kind enough to back out quietly.   I ended up coming up on them so I turned around and went somewhere else.   About an hour later I heard a single shot from the direction they had gone.   I think they were in a Chevy.

Little black boar with three legs. It's actually one I've seen a few times . Used to hang around down by the offices a coupe years ago but I think he got it up higher for the sounds of it.

I was out yesterday late afternoon. Didn't see any bear activity, light sign but saw a few cow elk & deer. I'll probably head back today and glass around.

Anyone else heading out there today? 

Any pics of the bear shot with a bow?
