Im trying to find baits just to keep em away. Their an absolute nusince when your trying to inventory deer in your area.
You might consider contacting some of the bear hunters on Hunt WA. They seem remarkably adept at keeping bears away. ;)

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I found this spot a few weeks ago in the Snoqualmie tree farm. I can't imagine this is legal after reading the other posts? I'm no expert though, this will be my first year hunting bear. Maybe it's not for bear baiting? The barrel is chained to the tree and I found a beaver skull on the trail leading up to this spot. It's not far from an old overgrown road and there was tons of sign. There were a zillion bees too.

The Tree Farms are allowed to bait, it's most likely a legal bait.

That is a Bate Station....my personal belief is if it is illegal for me to bait than there is no such thing as a Legal Bait.  No double standards....no different rules just because you own the property.....just my thoughts!
