made a bonehead move while doing my first euro, forgot to remove the brain...

Just as the title says, I started boiling my spike elk, my neighbor started shooting cylinders of ammonia with his rifle, and I became pre occupied with the fire department, when I came back, I putthe skull in the already boiling water. I pulled it about a hour and 1/2 later, scrpaed and cut away most all the leftover meat, then realized I forgot to pull the brains out.

Now what?  How do I get em out now? The brains seemed to have cooked into a solid mass

I would bore a hole into the brain case from the bottom big enough to get a knife blade into and start trying to hack the brain up into small pieces and then shake the pieces out of the hole.

Shooting cylinders of Ammonia?  Who in their right mind would think that is a good idea?

Not a pleasant thought, but just scramble them with a screwdriver through the hole in the back where the neck connects and house it out.

Thats just not right!   seriously though, even when cooked, brains are soft and hose out easily.  No scrambling required.

WARNING:  Good odds you will end up with cooked brains on your shoes and pants.  Seems I always get the hose in just the right position to where it comes shooting back at me like a brain filled fire hose!

My taxi drills a small hole in the botton of the skull and uses a air hose to blow the brains out the back wjere the neck attaches. Its amazing! Lol ...and even sounds like a giant fart!

Brains came right out, little powerwash in the morning and a degreas soak and I'm set!

If I'm after a more natural not bright white look, but don't want to smell up my house, how long should I be degreasing?
