How many people hunt with something unique or interesting?

Not to many super exotics. I have hunted a lot with handguns 44 and 454 and of course my beloved Weatherby CFP. Also done some hunting with a contender.

I just dis a semi custom 7mm stw and I am looking forward to getting out and hunting with it. Hard for me to put down the weatherbys.

.450 Remington Ultra Magnum. Which is simply a .375 Ultra Magnum necked up to .458.  A 500gr bullet on top of 102gr of Winchester 748 will get your attention, especially if your parked behind it on the bench. Drew the reamer up, had PTG make it happen. BenchMark barrels built it on a Rem700 action of mine and I tested it on a Manastash Bull.

Woodswalker, that would be cool.  I keep looking at them and have to tell myself, I already have a 35 Whelen and a 9.3x72R.  That little Swede in 9.3x57 does keep calling to me.

Used my Grandfather in-laws Ruger #1 in 25-06 once. My rifle had to go to my wife cause her scope bases almost came off hers and threw her zero WAY off. I thumped a white tail with it at about 50 yards, dropped hard right there, barley twitched. however besides the gun being heavy for what it is, its also just 1 shot, which really sucked cause after I busted the one at 50yrds the other 5 or 6 that were with it spooked and I couldn't reload fast enough to bust another lol.

Until I was in my teens I hunted squirrels, rabbits, possums, coons and misc other critters with my Colt Woodsman that was handed down to me from my Dad's Uncle who carried it on duty as a Revenuer in Alabama.  It is still my go-to gun for critters that are too close to the house or for killing rats and mice in the barn.

I sometimes use a Winchester model 1910 401wsl for deer. It's comparable to  a .44 Magnum carbine, maybe a little more.
I cast my own bullets and reform 7.62 x39 brass for it. Lots of fun.

I hunt with an Enfield 1917 ( I think ) 30/06. It's old , heavy and ugly but it's killed a few deer for me. I bought it used, so I don't know the history on it. Makes me wonder where else it's been and what it's done prior to me owning it.

This the first time I've tried to attach a picture to a post. Did it work?
The rifle was made in 1912, the starting brass is 7.62 x 39, bullet is a 215 gr .410 swc (L)
