what is your go to big game hunting rifle?
« on: March 13, 2015, 11:24:55 AM »
If you could only use one big game rifle from your cabinet, which one would you choose? For me its my US m1917 Winchester .30-06 with 4.5-14x40mm Nikon Buckmasters BDC. This rifle has a custom Timney trigger set at 2.5 lbs. It is a real go getter and my go to rifle. It also has a custom stock with palm swell. Now whats your choice, love to hear and see. Thanks to all, Good hunting!

I don't have a hunting rifle of my own yet :'( but my go-to is almost the same as yours tgomez: my step-dad's winchester 30-06. It doesn't have all the fancy add-ons though.

Thompson center venture 7mm rem mag with a redfield 4-12 , cheap enough I'm not worried about beating it up, big enough to take care of anything in the state. I like the lifetime warranty on the gun and glass too
