At the distance these are intended to be shot at, what's the practical difference between a .38 Spl and a .357? At some point there's such a thing as too much.
Lcr
I am looking to buy. I have not seen a 38 that is under a pound, they are more like 2 lbs. so will get a light 357 and shoot 38's in it. am looking seriously at the lcr. mike w

Most violent handgun I've ever shot.10 rounds of full-house .357 mag and you'll need a timeout. Is the OP looking for CC?Taurus Titanium Tracker is very light and the 4" barrel gets a lot more KE out of the round.
thank you for the input. very interesting and informative. now am thinking about a lite 9 mm. reason is I am not a big guy and don't like to be pushed around by excessive recoil. have a couple of big friends that are very interested in the lcr and the bodyguard 38. mike w
