I think your the guy thats been going around Skagit valley with the pellet gun picking off banded birds when there feeding along the road

Bearhunter. You just have to go out and hunt some ducks if you want a chance at getting some banded ones. Or talk to the biologist and see where and what type of birds they are banding then target those as they decoy in. It increases your odds.

If those large bands are off of Canadas, I seriously doubt that they came from the west side. I figure I have to shoot about 150 mallards to get a banded one around here. Have shot lots of widgeon and 0 bands, 1 banded teal, 0 pintail, 0 gadwall. They must all be on divers, and I don't target those.

it looks to me like all those turkey bands that they use at the NWTF BANQUETS to me and he uses them for a necklace for his pics.
ok just joking, nice work. i've got a couple geese, duck, quail bands and even a transmitter from a mallard that was release in cali.
but nothing that comes close to those numbers
