Snoqualmie Tree Farm Vicinity Map for Google Earth
« on: March 20, 2015, 05:21:07 PM »
I created an overlay of the 2015 access map on Google Earth. It's not perfect, but good enough for me. I thought I'd share for you Snoqualmie guys.

Thanks for posting this! I am excited to check it out.  I am trying to open the link and having a hard time.  Also is there a key for your markings?  This might be a rookie question, sorry.
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Great work!!  I just chopped and laminated mine last night.  Given the new escapement areas I figured it was time to retire the old one.

Can someone explain to me what a "wildlife escapement area" is please?

I emailed Hancock about this (though they weren't really helpful). These are walk-in only areas, no driving, but hunting is just fine.

I am trying to open the link and having a hard time.

PM me with any issues and I'll try to help. Should just be able to click the file in OneDrive to download and then open it in Google Earth by double-clicking it.

Also is there a key for your markings?  This might be a rookie question, sorry.

The official Hancock maps have a key (it looks like it was removed from their PDF version). The basics:
  • Yellow areas are open to access
  • Green areas are Wildlife Escapement Areas, i.e. walk-in only
  • White areas are "No Access"
  • Stars are gates
