Are you after fun in the sun or are you meat hunting ?
Do you want to sit and wait for a fish (troll) or free drift ?

Buoy 10/ astoria will be your best trip.  Lots of fish to be caught, kings and silvers.

Yep! That would be a great trip. Especially with all the Chinook that are supposed to show up!

I've been out with Clancy a couple times on the Cowlitz. Knows his stuff. I've heard his son, Ron, is very good as well. Follow their instructions and you should do well.

You'll have fun for sure! That's one of my favorite fisheries on the Columbia. Good luck, see you out there!

You have to do what Clancy says. Lol he is a stickler. You may fish with Ron, and both are great. But Ron is really cool and these two are the best in the biz. Ron is a manimal when it comes to fishing. They won't dissapoint!

Fall salmon at the mouth for August.  It can be a blast and produce boat limits.  Silvers and kings!
Cut em!
