Anyone have any experience with this rangefinder?
If it does most of what they say it will do, it would be a pretty slick unit for long range work.
Intersted in durability, accuracy, who made the optics and where it is made and serviced?
Pretty healthy chunk of change for one, want to know what I'd be getting for my $$.

Have an email out to the co. concerning optics and service.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Never heard back from G7 either.

I've talked to the guys at Defensive Edge about these and they spoke highly of them.  Shawn wouldn't use or sell them if they didn't work well.  My dad bought one but I've yet to actually use it.

I know 2 guys that are using them. They are both extremely happy with them. They do everything advertised. 
Anyone that thinks a Glock is better than a 1911 paints his toenails.

I know I'd love to have one but they are way out of my price range at this moment. I've got an old Bushnell 800 that seems to do fine for eastern WA and a little Nikon 600 that I use for bow hunting. With having 2 on hand already it's hard to justify putting out that kind of money. Maybe someday.

I've heard they're pretty nice. But I can't vouch personally. I use a Leica 1600-B and an Applied Ballistics Kestrel 4500.

A close friend of mine has one I got a chance to try it and all I know is I want one. everything is built in to it the ability to program your ballistics from different rifles is a plus. it compensates for angles temperature elevation everything you need for that long range shot on an animal. it flat out works. I own a 1600B I am planning on selling it to help fund my new G7 BR2

I have both a G7 and a 1200 Leica.  I'll take the G7 everytime.  Even used it this winter in light fog and it ranged amazingly well.  Distance and windage are spot on.  Expensive? Yes.  Capabilities?  Impressive.  You want to buy a good used Leica?   :)
