Gonna have to pick your brain about my boat setup. Won't be able to run this year but need to get rigged to run next year if it is safe enough.
Nice fish Ouch. Getting outside of tatoosh helps bring the size up some. Looks like you had great water that day. You or DIY gonna be over there while I am there? My spot outside tatoosh give ya these all day long.
I will be out there fishing may 1-4th, hoping to restock the freezer. I am down to only a couple of fillets of LC left!Quote from: kenzmad on March 23, 2015, 09:14:57 PMNice fish Ouch. Any honey holes or general pointers you are willing to share? Are you staying in the more shallow water or chasing them out on the deep water reefs near where the continental shelf drops off? Most of the fish I cautch around seal rock are not too much larger than the 22" min, and it sure would be nice to get a few bigger ones in US waters.

We fish in 250'+ most of the time. If you arent coming over til May 1, you have to adhere to the 120' max depth rules. That kicks in on May 1. Lots of lings in shallow water at this time of year. Besides, once outside, your limit of seabass goes from 6 to 10. And you get to add in regular rockfish as well.
