lost Pup
« on: May 02, 2015, 05:21:10 PM »
Some friends of mine have lost their 5 month old chocolate lab. I do not know all the details but the dog jumped out of the back of a truck  somewhere between the target in smokey point and cemetery Rd in Arlington close to the airport. His name is Ruger. If anyone has seen him please let me know. Thank you.
Lucas

This.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

WA state law is that you have to tie your dog in of its in the back of your truck.

:yeah:  even though I don't, I do when they are young and train them to stay in. A 5 month old should never have been unattended or untied/uncrated. I'd pitch in to help fund a crate so it doesn't happen again.

Be lucky it wasn't injured.  My coworkers pup road in back of the truck for a 1/2 mile trip.  Aa soon as it saw home it jumped out.  That pup ended up breaking its rear leg.
Expensive  :yike: lesson.
