I watched a few nice mature bucks on your place a few times last year. Time to get my cams up and running again. Seems the deer are healthy aroud there. Now if we could thin the does a bit. Seeing 50 in one field section at once is a bit much.

A fork horn w/t was dead on the HWY just north of Chewelah 3 weeks ago with both sides attached.

I live in Ocean Shores, WA of course you can't hunt here but all the bucks I've seen here dropped around the 3rd week of February. I was driving along the Canal yesterday and seen a buck with about 4 inches of velvet horn. He is going to be a big son of bi&&& this year!! I however can't wait to see my 7 point to see if he gets bigger or starts over.

I got 3bucks with new growth above the hair line with the "eye guard buck" having close to 2" also have 2 young bucks that look like fresh pedicals. All the bucks are hitting the minerals hard this week. Does have been for the last 3 weeks

I was shooting my .30-06, and .22lr and saw about 200 deer driving in to Chattaroy from Spokane. One of the deer had about 3.5 inches of newly grown antler. It was a very mild winter and should be a great year for mature bucks. Im sure many of us will see alot of bucks out chasing "thunder chickens"(gobblers) this spring. It is always fun seeing bucks no matter what time of year it is!

Saw a Blacktail today with about 2 inches of growth today with real thick bases

I saw a small buck last night with one antler.  I've typically seen them hard horned until the second week of March but never in April...

Skyval, you must be pretty hard up.

We're talking about 1" antler bumps here
