Bulls from today still carrying
« on: March 29, 2015, 09:46:22 PM »
Took a drive to see if we could find some elk today. Saw one herd of cows that bolted before you could say boo. Got to one viewpoint and snapped some crappy pics through the spotting scope but better than nothing. 8 bulls all together and all still packin.

I hear ya, went out lookin today as well. Probably saw 300-400 elk :o didn't see any bulls packin but at also wasn't able to get a good enough look to see which ones, if any, were bulls but I'm sure some had to be. Although we found a bunch of fresh rubs and a spot where a couple bulls had got into it recently.
They is where you aint and you aint where they is.

I be finding the majority of my sheds either on the edge of the wilderness or in the wilderness.  Elk are way up high.

One got smacked just over the hump Saturday morning.   Little one, but that probably isn't what the car was thinking.
