« on: January 01, 2009, 09:38:53 PM »
Just curious what everyone thinks a set like this would sell for.

Not that great for a score but a set that is one of a kind. I've seen those kinds of sets go for  good money. That big dropper off the base would bring in some cash! I'd sell them for $100.00 or so  :chuckle:

If you are lookin to thin out your collection I know a set that I would sure like to have! ;) Just kiddin. I think the best way to get the best price for matched sets would be for you to list them on ebay. Check it out I see stuff going for a lot of money on there. Especially matched sets and unique stuff like your drop tine set. If you really want to get the most bang for your buck you should consider making some antler lamps. They are pretty easy to make especially using deer antlers and making two antler table lamps. I am making some right now for my house. It also helps justify all the time I spend lookin for the darn things! ;)

I probably wouldn't put them on Ebay yet.  The score isn't that high and I have seen several Double drop tine bucks that scored about the same size as that for $200.  I would find an Antler Collector.

that is an awesome drop. I think ebay would be your best bet if you were selling. I would guess you would get somewhere in the neighborhood of 150. You just need 2 people who want it to get a good price.

3-400 will get you a 180+ set of sheds, more like 150 - 200.
