I'm with you on that, Pope, let's concentrate on what we have in common.  Unless I'm in school. I'll be ready for a velvet buck session over at the Malheur this summer.  Since my chance of returning to my old job blew away yesterday, I'm thinking I might have to move over there.  If I'm gonna go broke, I might as well do it in a place I enjoy. :chuckle:

I'm so tired of the whining and crying about Obama, the country, liberals, etc. that we see pop up every day.  If you look to the recent topics, half are usually concerning subjects like these.  I am as much to blame as anyone as I go at it with many on here in these threads.  This site use to be dominated by hunting and photography.  I'm going to try and do my best to further that goal by posting good pictures and talking more about hunting in threads.

 :yeah:

I actually decided about a week ago to just quit reading and posting on anything that looked political.  Was getting too worked up about stuff.  It was just turning into a bunch of posturing and everyone trying to sound smarter than they are...  I am sticking to hunting.  I suck at photography.  Maybe I'll post some paintings... :chuckle:

If I'm ever disbarred or my wife divorces me, I'll have a camper on the back of my truck and just drive around to all the photo spots all year long.  That would be fun!

I was looking at Tony's pic of his goat on Fair Chase magazine and thinking Goats are on my list for this spring.

If you're interested, I can give you the specific location in Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park where I snapped this picture.  From our hiking adventure it became clear that goats spend a heck of a lot of time in this particular area.  If I had your photography equipment and skills I'm sure there would have been lots of great shots to be had that day. :)

Goats are really low this time of year.  They also have long hair and it's about time to get some shots.  Tony has some great goat spots and I was able to get him liquered up last year and he took me to a few of his honey holes.  I hope I can get out and get some this year.  I would love to shoot WA goats.  I would think Rainier would be snowed in good for a while...?  Here is a goat from May of last year.

Definitely.  It'll be mid-late Summer before a person could hike up into the area in my pic and snap some pics.
