So Pope what we are pretty much talking here is that most of the photos you shoot some kind of touch up is done via Photoshop or some other photo editing software?

With WB I just shoot auto.  I gets half the shots right and the other half I just change on lightroom.  I find that canon's wb settings are too warm for my liking.  Good luck tbrad.
Shawn, I've found the same thing to be true for me.  I used to stress over getting WB set properly, constantly adjusting it every time the subject or location changed a little bit.  Now I just leave it on auto WB and do a bit of fine tuning in PP when that's necessary.

:chuckle:  Yeah, I meant the picture style, not mode, lol.  Rob doesn't have much faith in me.   Of course I worded it wrong.  :P

I just saw the "L" on his lcd screen, which prompted my question.  I want to get as much right "in camera" as I can because I don't have too much time for PP.  Thank goodness for batch processing.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.  It is much appreciated.

Yeah, with RAW you definitely have to get basic adjustments like exposure and white balance tweeked.  Like any good picture though, the better the photo the less you have to do to the photo.  I have the photo thread series where I do a thread on what I do for post processing.  I generally tweek the white balance, adjust raw exposure/fill light/contrast/vibrance.  Sharpen in photoshop and save.  Sometimes I'll use a noise plugin to reduce noise.  Sometimes I'll remove dust with a clone stamp.

If my camera was in Landscape mode Tbrad, it was on accident...   :bash:
