hunting sling
« on: April 03, 2015, 08:24:01 AM »
at the spokane bighorn show there was a booth from specialty outdoor products selling a gun sling, they also have one for a bow. i was intrigued by the demonstration and like the idea of beign able to pull the other strap over your head and wear it like a backback. does anybody have this sling and have they actully used it hunting. is it worth it or just a good sales pitch?  if you want you can google "ultimate hunting sling" and see the same sales pitch i seen at the show

:yeah:    Me too, my son, my wife, my dad and I have been using it for years.  He guarantees them too.  The sling ring on my Ruger had a flat egde and over about 4 or 5 years the sling started to get a small tear in it.  The next Puyallup sportsmen show I stopped at his booth and was just going to buy a new one.  I told him I loved his slings but mine was starting to tear so I needed to buy another one.  He asked if I had it with me because if I did he would just trade it for a new one.  I didnt have it, he said thats ok, I will trust you.  He gave me a new sling for free and a business card and said he would trust me to send him my old sling.  Which I did of course.   Great guy with a great product.
