Just keep in mind if you're deciding on doing this.
You don't need to be in shape. Show up, compete & have fun. You will not regret it. I promise. People in all different types of shape show up at each event.

I have a new one I'm working on "road hunters challenge"  30 3-d targets hidden on a 10mile stretch.  You have a driver and a shooter see target get out and shoot score target high score at end wins.

I think it should be a combination of time and score.  But who needs to get out of the truck?  Shooter should just shoot out of the truck bed.  Could be a two shoot event, first round at daylight and second round starts at 10PM.  Call it the "Teanaway Hunters Spectacular"!!  Alcohol consumption optional, but encouraged. :IBCOOL:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Interesting, I may be down if some folks are going to show up.  It would give me a reason to up the ante on my workouts in the next couple months.

We have a handful already registered. I think there will be a good turn out. Alot of people sign up about a week before the event. There is a good number of people that travel around to the events that I know will be there as well.

Do they have an over 60 w/walker class, I might be competative in that class.  :chuckle:
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Making it archery only is really going to limit the number of people that participate.  If it covered more than a short course archery scenario, I would certainly be interested.

Thanks for the feedback. It would be pretty difficult to make this a rifle course as we are extremely limited on venues to hold the event. Being archery only has been pretty successful so far though. Last year the events in OR & CO pulled around 70 competitors at each regional event. We are expecting more at each this year.

I'm in. I've been looking for a reason to do both. Get in shape and 3D shoots. Can't wait.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.

I also am very interested. I have joined the warrior dash and Spartan race this year. In the 40+ range. This just might be another on my list for the year.

I would love to do this event unfortunately I'm on vacation when the event is being held, otherwise I would have signed up already.
