Have more than I'd like to admit, especially to my wife.

My favorite would probably be the Winchester 9422 High Grade I picked up for $300 about 18 years ago.  My PMR30 is a lot of fun to shoot but I can't screw my suppressor on it so my true favorites would have to be any 22 or 17hmr I own that I can screw my TBAC 22L-1 on to.  Shooting these dang things suppressed, is just soooo darn fun!!

I had a 9422 XTR Classic (.22WMR) stolen about 18 years ago. Would LOVE to have that gun back. It was fun and accurate. I don't even remember what scope I put on it.....Pretty much vaporized a squirrel with it one day.

Buy a Savage Bullbarrel 17 WSM. That rimfire is way better than a 22 mag. I own the 17 HMR, 22 Mag and the 17 WSM. Wholly cow about the 17 WSM is all I can say...
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

That's funny, not really though, the second gun I purchased with my own money as a young teen, was a 9422M from the local Coat to Coast store.  Only had it about two years and for reasons I still don't know, my dad loaned it to a friend who promptly had it stolen from his truck and I never saw it again.  That was 32 or 33 years ago and I'm still pissed off about it.  I couldn't afford to shoot it nearly as much as I did my Marlin 39A which was the very first gun I bought with my own money, mail order from Montgomery Wards.  If recall, I paid $150 for the 39A and $275 for the 9422M and the 9422M came with this shelf like thing so you could mount it on the wall horizontally.  I still have the Winchester wall mount thing but not the rifle, sure wish it was the other way around though.  >:(

I have a Remington 511 with a Leupold 4x scope.
I use it for old cans, grouse and just as a "fun" gun.
Might switch out the scope for a NewEngland peep sight.
Never really saw the need or use for .22 birshot,I have shot it, just not much.

I've got a 511X also.  Best squirrel gun I ever bought.  Got two seasons of squirrel hunting out of it before uncle sam messed with me and I moved to a state with no squirrels.

Wadu - is your Rem Model Five made in Serbia? My three are. I sure would like to find a source for some spare magazines. I found one place, but they want about $22 each. That's outrageous. I should have bought spares when I bought the guns at Cabala's. They were only about $6 each. I don't want to pay $22 for a $6 magazine. As far as I can tell, the guns are still made and now carry a S&W brand. Great guns - simple and accurate. Interesting thing about my wife's youth model - it likes just about any ammo you put through it. The other two aren't real finicky, but not as flexible as hers.
