No there's a early muzzy season I'm wondering if those bucks are there or if they migrate out of the book cliff Utah with snow

South of Rangley a few years ago I saw very few bucks in september , although I did get within bow range of a giant nontypicle , just had the wrong tag in my pocket.

I don't think I would use points for that early, maybe up by Douglas pass?

The bucks are there during the muzzy.   Beauty of muzzy season is that you can hunt 30 and 21.

How many points do you have?

It took 9pts for 100% draw odds last year and 8pts were 50% draw odds.  Without point creep you have at least a 4 year wait.

Colorado is a preference point state.  Can't get lucky.

Whoever has the most pts gets the tag.  There is no luck involved.

If you got a notion to put in for some of the units in the SW corner of the state I could provide you with a good amount of info.
