Would like to checkout some public or private land (if there is permission to hunt) this weekend in the Coville area. I am in Seattle so Colville seems like "the best place" without driving super far. Would kick a guide who knows the area some $ for their time.

Thanks!

Buy one of Bearpaw's maps. They're on his website.
You have to be careful paying people for services on public land. A lot of places it's illegal to take money unless you're a licensed outfitter on that land.

Pocket change is right.
You're paying for years of experience on his home turf. You'd use that much money on gas on 2 trips over there scouting and still may not find yourself in the turkeys.

Send him a pm. He owns this forum. His maps are from all over the northeast corner. He is based out of colville. He has lots of different maps. He won't give multiple people the same map.
