Looking for a partner- Olympic National Forest

I'm looking for a bear hunting partner for this upcoming season. I'm looking for someone that is familiar with the Olympic National Forest. This will be my first year hunting bear, as well as hunting in Washington. I moved here in December 2013 and planned on hunting in 2014. I August 2014 I found out I had a brain disorder that required brain surgery. I had one surgery on August and two others in September. I have since recovered from my surgeries and I am 100%. I am serving active duty Army if that gives you any indication on my health and I have no plans on being medically separated. If anyone can help, or is looking for a partner, let me know.

Anyone willing to help me out with tips? Not asking for honey holes, just asking for tips. I know a lot of people like to be tight lipped but I'm not from here and I'm just trying to get out there and pet some animals.

pretty large area to choose from.  Not necessarily in actual 'area', but in how it is spread around.  Any guess which part you want to hunt in?

I've looked at a few places and have a few in mind. Elwha river/valley was one. I don't know the area at all other than looking at it from a map.

That area is kind of small and difficult to get to.  Most is below a steep slide/north facing so you don't really get a lot of growth.  Are you going to get to do spring scouting?

There is an area a little to the west of there still national forest, between hwy 101 and hwy 112.  Lots of good swamp areas back in there.  Do you camp or drive in early in the am and out late at night?  Are you set on National Forest or does DNR work too?

Not set on anything really. Just kind of set on the OP. From what I've heard that produces the best bears. If I'm wrong please educate me. That's why I'm here.

I'd be doing a little of all three. Driving in and camping. Just depends on what the wife allows.

 I have one little tip for you look at a map find the highest elevations and look for wide rings this Will be opens meadow on south slopes you will find bears
