Heck just pick the one that has the guy at the gate to make sure you paid your 300 dollars to get in,then he points you in the derection of parking, foolows you to the spot, punches your parking ticket, and hands you a flyer for next year and tells you how much time you have points you in the derection  they have decided to let you hunt before you got there and says ( BE SAFE !! ) Well when a guy tells me to be safe on a paid for permit land deal for bow season, I emediately wondered were they parked everybody else I geuss the 300 dollars was for parking , the flyer  and the guy sitting there,Im thinking this is were my anxiety stuff started, I swear it is never again!!So my answer, don't follow the money, the guys that run the show only care about money and there own freezers , just my take from the experience, goooo, 364 ,that's allways my choice regardless of the negatives ,( don't get me stared ? ) :bash:

Rimrock has elk crawling all over it, you should have no problem getting a decent bull.

Well, I asked you guys for info on elk hunting and I mentioned I want to try and use my disabled areas if possible, because of the points I have. Talk about getting screwed, if you're disabled, for the worst areas, length of time and seasons again, from our wonderful WDFW. What a total joke..............

Thanks for all the responses. I guess the WDFW will make an honest, law abiding citizen a law breaker...some laws are meant to be broken.

Like I said, you can hunt anywhere you want, you don't have to hunt the disabled access areas, if you don't like them.

Doesn't sound like you're all that disabled anyway.   :dunno:

My opinion, if you want the perfect scenario like you seem to be looking for, private property is the only real option.

Looking at the 2014 harvest reports 23 or 26 bulls with 6+ points were killed in Lewis River GMU 560.

I lived on the westside and hunted Kapowsin. I lived 3 miles from there. I worked over there and haven't been on the westside for 6 years and have zero desire to ever go over there again.

I have nothing against a companion hunter that shoots an animal for an individual....but if you just want someone to go out and shoot a non-"crappy" bull so you can have one that is bigger than the one on your wall...is it worth it? To me no. I would rather shoot a cow or spike myself..as opposed to someone else shooting a big bull for me...and me putting it on my wall.

Kinda weird you can't hike up or down hill but can handle a elk  alone.... I know you haven't  hunted elk for awhile  do you remember how much work they are once o the ground.... or do you expect to drive right up to him ? I'M not sure Kansas has a elk hunt  :chuckle:

I didn't ask about a " companion " shooting my bull. I don't need no stinking help shooting a " crappy " bull, or any other animal for me. I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself. And, a crappy bull is a crappy bull. People complain all the time that, It's not quite what I'm looking for. So I think you can drop the sarcasm...
