I'm in for deer/elk points only this year. I should draw my elk tag in 2016. CO allocates its tags to go to the hunters with most points so you can pretty much predict what year you will draw. The outfitter I was going to go with was already booked up for 2015 so I am going to wait until next year.

Good Luck in the drawing.

I applied for preference points for 3 species and bought a small game license. I will wait for the leftover draw and see if cow tags are available in the unit I wish to hunt.

Points only for deer for me.  I am hoping to cash in 11 pts next year with the later dates.
